So we’ve had the keys to the house for nearly 2 months and we are slowly updating the place. As you know from my previous post (It’s Been A While…) one of the first things we did was to update the windows. We also replaced the boiler and that was all before we had officially moved in! Things seemed to be going at a fast pace but not they have definitely slowed down. Unfortunately neither myself or my partner are qualified in any trades sooo we couldn’t do as much of it ourselves as we wanted. Luckily we have friends and friends of friends that are so that was handy! Since my last update we have taken out the under-stairs cupboard, re-carpeted the living room and stairs and also taken out the en-suite to our bedroom. Hopefully there will be more updates to share soon.
